ZEnITh: Zero Emissions Industrial Technologies

ZEnITh is an integrated, modular and plug-and-play thermal energy system that combines high-temperature heat pumps (HTHP), latent thermal energy storage (LTES) and an AI-based energy management system (EMS). The HTHP supplies high-temperature process heat, the LTES stores thermal energy to balance supply and demand, and the AI-based EMS coordinates the technologies with renewable energy and industrial production requirements. The integrated solution will be demonstrated in an aluminium manufacturing plant and assessed for its environmental, social, economic and circularity performance.
